Children's Parties at
The Porcelain Pig
A party at The Porcelain Pig is hassle free and great fun.
We offer a fantastic range of activities to choose from and our experienced staff run your party, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the occasion!
Our parties are suitable for ages 5 years and upward. You can book for a maximum of 20 children. Our studio is small so please note we can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults accompanying the party.
Party Packages
Mini Pets Package
Choose from a selection of cute small animal ornaments to paint. Selection depends on stock available on the day.
Finished items – must be left for firing, ready for collection within a week by the party organiser.

Included in cost – pottery item to paint for each guest, staff member to run your party, complimentary celebration plate for the Birthday child with all the guests’ fingerprints added and drinks (orange and blackcurrant squash).

Cost – £150 for up to 10 guests, £10 p/p for additional guests

Timing – 1 hour
Crazy Creatures Package
Choose from a selection of fun large animal ornaments to paint. Selection depends on stock available on the day.
Finished items – must be left for firing, ready for collection within a week by the party organiser.

Tea Party Package
Choose from a fun selection of plates, bowls and cups. Options depend on stock is available on the day.

Clay Door Plaques Package
Using clay, each guest will make their very own clay door plaque, featuring their name and a range of designs. Our friendly staff will lead the guests through all the stages and techniques used to create an amazing clay door plaque to hang on their bedroom doors. Once the clay building is complete, the guests will then use our glazes to also paint their creation in the same session.
Finished items – must be left for a double firing (bisque firing, and glaze firing) and will be ready for collection within 4-5 weeks by the party organiser.

Included in cost – 650g of clay and clay paints, staff member to run your party, complimentary celebration plate for the Birthday child with all the guests’ fingerprints added, drinks (orange and blackcurrant squash).

Starry Night Sky Package
Choose from a selection of plates, bowls and mugs to decorate during a step by step workshop to create an amazing Night Sky Scene. One of our friendly and experienced staff will lead the guests through all the stages and techniques used, to help them create this amazing design on their chosen pottery item. Guests choose their item from the selection available on the day.
Finished items – must be left for firing, ready for collection within a week by the party organiser.
